Forms over Body

Forms Over Body is a series of body-related objects that explores the relationship
between industrial forging and the human body. It draws inspiration from the visual
language of forging. Using this technique, the material develops soft, fleshy details at
the ends of the bar. These elements are used to create a connection between forged
steel and the body.
As the forms are stretched and shaped over the human body, they carry the imprint of
the wearer, creating an intersection between adornment and physical presence.
Objects invite reflection on how these wearable forms dwell on the body, respond to it,
and alter the way bodily presence is experienced.
